Patagonia (TIERRA DEL FUEGO, CAPE HORN, TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK)
Another amazing National Geographic Expeditions trip to Argentina & Chile to explore the otherworldly environment that is Patagonia. The landscape is so bizarre and the colors are so intense that photography sometimes doesn't do it justice. And the way the trees are twisted and gnarled by the wind, it seems like you're walking through a Tim Burton film. And around every corner you'd expect to see the Fellowship walking along the hill sides. Here are some pictures that I happened to capture along the way.
Yellowstone & Grand Tetons national parks
Now, I'm not a trained still photographer but they sent me with a nice still camera while I was on a trip with National Geographic Expeditions to Yellowstone & Grand Tetons. Here are some of the pretty shots I got while traveling with a great group of adventurers on this family trip.
Thailand & Cambodia
This was my first time in Thailand and the country was beyond magical. One of the highlights was visiting a sanctuary for rescued elephants in Chiang Mai called Elephant Nature Park where we fed, walked and bathed the gentle giants in the river. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. And of course we couldn't pass up taking a quick trip to one of my most favorite places on the planet, Angkor. This was my second trip to the ancient ruins and I'm always thrilled to climb through the mazes and temples that were swallowed by the Cambonian jungle.
